The property is all on one level, you enter into the kitchen which is modern light and airy and still has one of the stone feeding toughs in the feature exposed limestone wall.

The sitting room has a vaulted ceiling, beams and has a very sweet dining table and chairs. Views from the sitting room are over the large garden, and fields beyond.

The bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. From the bedroom you have a very well appointed shower room with hand rails and seat.

Chestnut Cottage has been graded 4 star by the VisitBritain inspectors – it couldn’t achieve 5 star for the simple reason that it doesn't have a bath … which is a great shame in these days of eco and green awareness and the need to look after the earths resources.
