Driving to Blakelow Farm Holiday Cottages
From the M1 and east: (including from Nottingham East Midlands and Birmingham International Airports use M42)
From M1 junction 28, take the A38 west sign posed for Matlock, leave A38 Ripley, follow A610 signs for Ambergate. At the junction with the A6 at the Hurt Arms pub turn right, follow the A6 to Cromford. At the traffic lights turn left onto the B5036 signed for Wirksworth then quickly after the Greyhound Hotel turn right onto the ancient Via Gelia A5012. Follow this road for 4 miles as it winds gently up the hill. At the Holly Bush pub take the right onto the B5056, continue for 2.5 miles then turn right onto the unclassified Bonsall Lane, follow this for 1 mile and look for us on the right.
From the M6, and west: (including from Manchester Airport)
From junction 17 of the M6 take the A534 east for Congleton, then take the A54 through Macclesfield on to Buxton. Out of Buxton take the A515 signed for Ashbourne. Continue on the A515 for 11 miles, past the quarries and on through the open countryside. In Newhaven take the left just after the petrol station/garage onto the A5012. Follow the A5012 for 5 miles, through Pikehall. At the Holly Bush turn left onto the B5056, continue for 2.5 miles then turn right onto the unclassified Bonsall Lane, follow this for 1 mile and look for us on the right.
